Intel-powered ZTE Geek now available in China for $307

ZTE Geek, which uses Intel’s Atom Z2580 aka Clover Trail+ dual-core processor clocked at 2GHz, is now available in China where interested users can grab it for around $307; or for $372 in case they want the phone alongside a wireless charging pad.

Aside from the mentioned CPU, ZTE’s baby also packs 2GB of RAM, 5-inch 720p HD screen, 8-megapixel camera on the back, while Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is running the show right from the get-go.

As I’m writing this, we’re not sure whether ZTE will bring the Geek to the Western hemisphere. I’ve no doubts Intel would love to have a mobile device powered by its chip selling all around the world, but that doesn’t tell us much. In fact, we’re still waiting for few other high-end ZTE phones like Grand S and Grand Memo to hit the markets of Europe and North America. But that’s another story…
