iPhone case with built-in stun gun now available for $140

Own an iPhone 4/4S? Feeling unsafe walking around your neighborhood? Perhaps this new iPhone case is made for you. Unlike regular, dull iPhone cases, the Indiegogo-funded Yellow Jacket case rocks a 650,000-volt stun gun!

Available for $139.99 for the iPhone 4/4S (iPhone 5 version is on the way), it’s touted as a perfect accessory for those trips to the city where seemingly everyone wants to get their hands on your iPhone.

The 1-inch-thick case comes in black, white, pink and yellow colors, although only the black model is currently available. To make sure you don’t accidentally zap yourself, the Yellow Jacket team came up with a protective cover and a safety switch that must be activated before zapping anyone.

Even better, the same battery pack that can deliver that powerful electric shock can also be used to recharge your beloved smartphone.

The problem, however, is that owning this kind of device isn’t legal everywhere. In fact, a number of countries, seven US states and in some specific counties and cities (like Washington D.C.) you can’t have, let alone use the Yellow Jacket case.
