Three HTC executives are under investigation for allegedly selling HTC’s trade secrets to Chinese firms, according to a report in The Telegraph. Taiwanese investigators allegedly searched HTC’s research and development center and the employee’s homes after the company accused the trio of stealing information about technology used in HTC’s upcoming Sense 6.0 UI. They also are accused of making T$10m ($221,000) off false commission fees.

Prosecutors in Taipei confirmed that Thomas Chien, HTC’s Vice President of product design, Wu Chien-Hung, the director of research and development, and senior manager of design and innovation Justin Huang are the targets of the investigation. HTC told The Telegraph that this investigation will have no impact on its operations.
