Just yesterday, a leak showed us the packaging for the Verizon version of the Moto G, Google and Motorola’s little KitKat touting smartphone. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Verizon variant of the Moto G will be going on sale at Best Buy stores for the unbelievable price of $99, off-contract.
The phone is landing in stores as we speak, and will be available for purchase immediately. The Moto G will require one of Verizon’s pre-paid plans to function.
The Moto G made its debut in the U.S. this month, with a price of $179 for the 8GB version and $199 for the 16GB. $99 is a steal for the 4.5 inch screen smartphone, which provides the most current Android software around, Android 4.4 KitKat.
There’s no word on if the Moto G will be showing up in Verizon stores or if it is a Best Buy exclusive. We’ll keep you updated as details emerge.
