Verizon (or that’s just Best Buy) may offer the new Moto G for $100 off-contract. You got that right, you’ll be able to pick Moto’s mid-end baby for just $100 while not being committed to any long-term contracts.
The information comes from Google+ user Josue Joseph who apparently works at Best Buy. He posted the image above adding that this model, however, won’t work with any other network (but Verizon’s). So you may be getting the phone for just $100 but you’ll still need to buy minutes, texts and data from the Big Red carrier.
“Real off-contract price” is set at $179 or $199 depending on the amount of built-in storage. For that price, you’ll get the Moto G that can sing along any network you fancy.
Still we can’t help but wonder whether this will be one of the best-selling Android smartphone in Verizon’s portfolio. At $100, it sounds like a perfect device for first-time smartphone buyers or even a gift for one’s child. What do you say?
