The Moto X has received a considerable price cut today, with the un-subsidized 16GB model dropping from $649 to $399. That’s quite a price drop, and puts the handset in the price category it should have been in the first place. Motorola hasn’t moved as many Moto X handsets as they would have liked in 2013, but this price drop should help them out in that department.
$399 for the unlocked GSM and carrier variants of the Moto X? Not a bad deal. Customers can still use the MotoMaker customization tool to create your own colorful Moto X, and for $100 more you can even add a bamboo casing to the always listening smartphone.
Motorola has even dropped the price of the 32GB Moto X, which will run you $449.99. The Moto X Developer Edition is now also $449.99, with the GSM and Verizon variants available.
If you’ve been holding off on grabbing a Moto X, now is your time to shine. Head on over to Motorola’s website and jump into 2014 with some style!
