Google Assistant Can Now Find Your Phone, Call from Your Mobile Number

Google today said its Home-based Google Assistant product can easily find your Android or iOS smartphone. Home owners need only say, "OK Google, find my phone." The Assistant will ring Android phones, or send a call to iPhones, even when the phone is in silent mode. Google envisions this as a quick and helpful way for finding missing handsets in the house. Moreover, Google has improved the voice-calling feature to include users' mobile phone numbers. Now, voice calls made via Google Home will show the owner's registered number. Previously, it showed Home-based calls as "unknown" or "unlisted" in the caller ID. This should help people connect calls to people who might otherwise not pick up. Google Assistant is being improved continuously for the Google Home.
