A leaked internal Verizon memo that we showed you on New Year's Eve, revealed that Big Red was planning on launching the Motorola Moto G on January 9th. The memo stated that the phone had a hard release date of January 9th. On Thursday, Verizon officially announced that the KitKat powered value handset will be offered online starting on that very date. The device will be available in stores at a later date.
