Apple iPad mini tops insurer's list of most easily broken gadgets

Device insurer SquareTrade Europe decided to do a study of the most breakable gadgets. Some of the more expensive smartphones and tablets were tested unscientifically. The gadgets were dropped from a tall height and then submerged in water. According to the insurance firm, the Apple iPad mini was on top, considered the most easily broken device with a score of 7.5.



In second place, with a score of 7, was the Samsung Galaxy S4, coming to the end of its reign as Sammy's Android flagship phone. The Apple iPad Air was third with a 6.5 score. The top five most breakable gadgets were rounded out by the Samsung Galaxy S III in fourth place and the Apple iPhone 5c in fifth with scores of 6.5 and 6 respectively.
