HP launching Chromebox devices this Spring

HP launching Chromebox devices this Spring

HP is looking to join the Chromebox ride later this Spring, when it will launch a colorful portfolio of Chrome OS-based devices.

Not all details are known yet except that some of these will rock Intel’s powerful Core i7 chips, and that they will be offered both to consumers and businesses.

Aside from boasting vibrant colors, these boxes look like other Chromebox products we’ve seen in the past. They come with few USB ports, Ethernet and Wireless connections, HDMI out and so on. Moreover, each of these will support standard VESA mounts, making them sing along existing “office configurations.”

Chances are HP will offer its Chromebox in at least two different configurations, one (more affordable) targeting consumers and the other (with an Intel Core chip) – business users.
