Moto G is now available from US Cellular which is selling it for $99 without any long-term commitments. That’s the same amount Verizon Wireless is asking while requiring you to put a signature on a two-year contract.
You will need some minutes, texts and data; and that’s where US Cellular hopes to make some money. The carrier wants you to get one of their No Contract plans that start at just $50 per month for unlimited talk, text and data (500MB full speed).
Moto’s baby is a solid entry-level smartphone with a 4.5-inch 720p HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core chip, 8GB of internal storage, while Android 4.4 KitKat is running the show right from the get-go. It lacks LTE connectivity support, but other than that – it’s pretty much the best device you can get for 100 bucks. You can check it out from this page at US Cellular’s website.
