Even though we still wait for the “regular” Ascend P7 to be announced, that’s not stopping Huawei from unveiling its “mini” variant. This [mini] model comes with a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 quad-core chip clocked at 1.2GHz, Android 305 graphics, LTE connectivity support, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of expandable storage. There’s also an 8-megapixel camera on the back, 5-megapixel front-facing one, 2,000 mAh battery, while Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is running the show. It is said that unlocked, SIM-free Ascend P7 mini will cost anywhere between 250 and 300 Euros.
As for the “regular” Ascend P7, it should be officially official on May 7th, boasting a 5-inch full HD screen, 13-megapixel rear camera, metallic body and so on. This unit will likely sell for around 400 Euros sans any strings attached.
