LG announced another member of its low-end L III series. The newly unveiled L80 is debuting in Indonesia with a price tag of some $216. That cash gets you a relatively big entry-level device with a 5-inch WVGA IPS screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 3G/HSPA connectivity support, 2,540 mAh battery and 4GB of expandable storage. Android 4.4 KitKat is running the show with LG’s own software — Knock Code included — singing on top.
In addition, there’s also a dual-SIM capability allowing folks to connect to two different networks at once. However, only one SIM card supports 3G connectivity, whereas the other one is used for calls and texts, only.
The LG L80 will be available in black and white. After Indonesia, we’re sure the Korean company will bring it to few other countries, as well.
