Low-end Oppo Joy with 4-inch screen, dual-core chip unveiled in Indonesia

Oppo Joy is the new low-to-mid range smartphone the Chinese firm has unveiled in Indonesia. Specs wise, this is a rather unimpressive product and in that sense, it shouldn’t break anyone’s bank.

The Joy rocks a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) IPS screen with glove mode, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 3-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, dual SIM capability, HSPA+ connectivity, 1,700 mAh battery and 4GB of expandable storage (via microSD cards). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is running the show.

The phone comes in black and white, and will sell for an equivalent of some $140 sans any strings attached. No word whether the Joy will also come to other countries but we assume few surrounding markets will get it as well.
