Microsoft wants to bring together pricing for apps on both the Windows Phone Store and Windows Store

Microsoft took to the Windows Blog to announce the consolidated price tier structure to support the unified apps that will be available for both the Windows Store and the Windows Phone Store. To make this happen, price points of 99 cents and $1.29 are being added to apps in the Windows Store. According to Microsoft, 55% of apps purchased in the Windows Phone Store are covered by these two prices.



Microsoft also made adjustments for things like foreign exchange rates, taxes and "market-specific pricing customs," and suggests that developers visit Dev Center to make any necessary changes. ...
