Nokia “Superman” will the first Windows Phone with 5-megapixel front camera

Nokia will launch more devices even now when Microsoft’s acquisition has been completed. If everything goes as planned we’ll see the Nokia “Superman” launching in the second half of the year, boasting a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. This in turn would make it the best Windows Phone device for taking selfies.

According to TheVerge, the “Superman” will be a mid-range smartphone with a 4.7-inch screen and likely Snapdragon 400 or 600 chip, with S80X series being reserved for the higher-end models.

We’re sure Nokia has all the technology to make the world’s best phone for selfies but that feature alone isn’t enough. We already have the HTC One M8 with 5-megapixel front camera, as well as a number of less-known devices coming out of China. The selfie craze is out there and Nokia (and Microsoft for that matter) would be crazy to miss on the opportunity. We’ll see how that goes…
