Mobile app marketing platform Fiksu has revealed that a record 7.8 million downloads took place last month in the Apple App Store, among the top 200 free iOS apps. The success of the Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus is said to have a lot to do with the record, since buyers of the two new models would have to download and reinstall their favorite apps on the new handsets.
